General Description:

Lemon trees are a popular choice for in the garden and can yield delicious citrus for culinary uses and refreshing beverages. Our favourites are Lemon Meyer and Lemon Yen Ben. Lemon Meyer is an attractive low spreading evergreen tree that has glossy green leaves and produces juicy, thin skinned, smooth, bright golden fruit. It is the hardiest of lemon trees and provides and abundance of juicy fruit year after year. Yen Ben is a vigorous lemon tree, with a tart, acidic flavour and few seeds It is a compact tree with an upright growth habit. In winter large, juicy, yellow fruit are produced with thin smooth skin and few seeds. One of the hardiest lemon varieties, one that is popular for export .

Uses:

Meyer and Yen Ben make ideal specimen or container trees. Lemon trees enhance the visual appeal of a home garden or orchard with glossy leaves and bright yellow fruit. Bees are attracted to the lemon blossoms and this can benefit nearby fruit trees.

Plant Care:

Plant in a warm, sunny and sheltered spot in your garden in free draining soil. Water well until established and over dry periods
