The much-loved evergreen Magnolia has lustrous green leaves with large flowers from late summer and into the changing autumnal months. Evergreen Magnolia's leathery foliage injects some green into the cooler and often dreary winter months. Uses:

These evergreen varieties perform well in New Zealand climates. Ideal for smaller spaces and makes a standout hedge. This appealing evergreen is perfect for areas requiring height. They make a wonderful specimen trimmed up to a single stem.

Plant Care:

Evergreen Magnolias perform best in well-drained humus rich soils. Keep the roots cool with deep mulch and water regularly during the dry summer months. If soil is lacking in nutrients you will need to add fertiliser.
