General Description:

Bubbles is a stunning hybrid Michelia raised here in New Zealand and is now popular all over the world. It forms a shapely small tree with fresh green foliage with small white scented flowers emerging from golden brown fury buds in late winter.

Uses:

Michelia Bubbles makes an ideal specimen tree or it can be used as an informal hedge. Grown on clear tall slender stems it will make an interesting pleached or stilt hedge.

Plant Care:

Michelia’s like a rich soil with plenty of organic matter. Stake well until established and provide plenty of mulch to prevent the roots drying out during the summer months. A light prune after flowering keeps the tree compact and in shape.
